Mango and Avocado Salsa

  • 1 mango peeled, pitted, and chopped
  • 1 avocado pitted, peeled, and chopped
  • 1 jalapeño finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • salt to taste


  • Combine the mango, avocado, jalapeño, red onion, and basil. Add the lime juice and salt to taste. Set aside and let all the floors come together at room temperature.
  • Serve as a topping for fish, chicken, grilled steak, or as an appetizer with tortilla chips.
