This slow cooked pork is so easy to make with the help of HERDEZ roasted pasilla chile. It really requires no work, and I kinda felt like I was cheating. I added all the ingredients to my slow cooker, walked away, and shredded once cooked. Then I let my family build their own lettuce wraps with the succulent and flavorful pulled pork and their favorite toppings. Dinner doesn’t get any easier than that.
Place the pork, pasilla chile sauce, onion, garlic, bay leaves, beer, and chicken broth in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Remove the pork and shred the meat. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place shredded pork in lettuce leaves; add toppings, and a squeeze of lime juice.
Notes
Sure you can also make tacos with this pulled pork as a filling.
