Waldorf Salad with Yoghurt

This dish can be served as a light appetizer or as a side dish. Like the traditional version, this recipe consists of colorful ingredients including fresh apples, crisp celery, grapes, and nuts, but in place of the mayonnaise I use yoghurt.

  • 2 stalks celery diced
  • 2 apples cored, and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green grapes
  • ¼ cup pecan pieces
  • ½ cup raisins optional
  • 1 cup Mountain High low-fat yogurt


  • Combine celery, apples, grapes, pecans, and raisins, if using, in a medium bowl.
  • Stir in yogurt.
  • Serve at room temperature or chilled.
