strawberry and passion fruit mojito caipirinha

I have been traveling like a mad woman with my co-author Vianney for our Latin Twist Texas book tour. San Antonio, Houston, and next is El Paso. See our book tour here.

At every stop we have reunited with friends and made new friends as we have shared our love of cocktails. For those of you online I wanted to share one of my favorites via my blog. I actually developed this one for California Strawberries. Being that strawberries are in their peek season it is the perfect timing to muddle up this caipirinha.

A caipirinha is very similar to a mojito, but instead of rum it is made with a Brazilian spirit called cachaça. I encourage you to give a try.
